“All clear,” I hear someone shout.

Was that him, the Hunter who gave me the baby? The vehicles drive off, but I stay in my position crouched on the floor. Looking at the little bundle in my arms, still greedily sucking away on the bottle, and I wonder what on earth I’m going to do now. I’ve never seen a real baby, much less cared for one, and I’ve definitely never cared for once whilst trying to avoid savage Hunters. I pick up the bag from the floor and return to the room upstairs. I need to think.
